Word of mouth marketing was the talk of the town and our client was keen to get involved. As a leading online firm, they had network of regular users and wanted to look into the feasibility of using this group as the basis of a new word of mouth service that they could offer to clients.

We worked closely with our client to help them understand best practice in this field, the current and future state of the market and the feasibility of them entering this space. Over the course of one month, we analysed successful and unsuccessful campaigns and investigated their growth particularly through social networking sites.

We distilled our findings into recommendations for next step actions, as well as a set of do’s and don’ts for entering the word of mouth market. Our client was thrilled with all their new-found knowledge and our research was used to inform their long-term strategy for word of mouth marketing.
