Evaluating collaboration in the FE sector
Collaboration in the Further Education sector can take various forms, from loose alliances to full-scale mergers. When the Learning and Skills Council (LSC)Â came to us they were keen to understand the impacts of these forms of collaboration. We worked with them to develop an evaluation toolkit aimed at enabling FE providers to examine the effects of collaboration, both in the long and short term. The toolkit was very well received and we are currently in talks with the LSC about how to take this to the next stage.
