As our team loves playing with data and really getting to the bottom of what it means for different industries, we set ourselves a challenge. We were interested in understanding the impact of shrinking energy reserves from traditional sources and how this may impact the global power balance in future. So we took some data from the International Energy Agency (IEA), visualised it using Google Earth and picked out some of the countries we found interesting.
